Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Miami, FL

Designed by Grimshaw Architects. Ximena was part of the design team as an architectural designer responsible for the Living Core roof and structural support design detailing, and coordination with the exhibition design consultants for the living exhibits within the outdoor program. The coordination with the engineering team was important in this project with a ½ million gallon tank aquatic tank and terrace space requiring varying amounts of daylight for visitors and the marine life.
